The family of Tobii Pro X2 Eye-Trackers is stationary equipment to measure the display patterns of stimuli that are displayed on the screen, either on PC or laptop. The family allows to capture data from the gaze of the participants at 30/60Hz (depending on the model). The simplicity of use and transport of the devices, their high precision and the possibility of synchronizing them with EEG and biosignal equipment, open an infinite range of applications in multiple application scenarios.

Versatility to address a large number of studies

The Tobii Pro X2 Eye-Trackers are compatible with the presentation of stimuli on a wide variety of screens: laptops, PC monitors, tablets or TVs up to 25" in size. Thanks to various accessories and configurations, it is possible to use these Eye-Trackers for eye tracking on mobile devices or even real objects.

Natural behaviour with reliability

The Eye-Trackers of the Tobii Pro X2 family allow to maintain the accuracy of eye tracking even when users move their head freely with large and fast movements (always positioned a natural distance from the screen). This creates a test environment free of distractions and promotes natural behavior.

Maximum precision and reliability

The team offers highly accurate gaze position data within the entire tracking area, regardless of the ethnicity of the participant, or if they are wearing glasses or contact lenses. The accuracy is also maintained during the movement of the user's head and in different ambient light conditions.

Components

The Tobii Pro X2 Eye-Trackers family allows eye-tracking studies on all types of screens and in any context inside or outside the laboratory. The sampling frequency is 30/60 Hz (depending on the model). The equipment is easily transportable in a rigid case that protects the device.

1. Eye-Tracking Unit

The Eye-Tracker measures only 184mm in length and weighs 200gr. It connects to screens up to 25 " (16:9) with adhesive mounting brackets supplied for monitors, laptops and tablets. With optional accessories it is possible to use it for special screens (for example, mobile screens) or for real objects. It connects to the device from a USB 2.0.

2. Included Software

Screen-based Eye-Tracker includes software that allows controlling and executing studies in an easy and simple way. It can be executed on any computer or tablet with Windows 7 or higher, and Linux Ubuntu. The software allows device configuration, start-stop recording, live data visualization (online), import and playback of recorded data, and export of data in CSV format compatible with Matlab, Python, etc.

Integrations

With other hardware technologies

The equipment can be combined with many other hardware technologies to obtain more information about human behavior (such as biosensors, eye-trackers, location technology, video and audio recording, etc.). This integration can be done through any of the Bitbrain platforms that maintain the highest level of synchronization with very low latency and without the need for the participant to carry a laptop.

With software platforms

The equipment can be used within the Bitbrain modular platforms for research applications in neuroscience or neuromarketing. The platforms allow simultaneous recordings with other technologies and perform analysis autonomously or using Bitbrain's analysis programs. Additionally, for any special requirement, Bitbrain has customized adaptation services

With development tools

From programming SDKs for Windows or Linux, to a complete development platform with units already available for synchronized acquisition, processing and interaction.
