Javier Mínguez presents the research behind Bitbrain at NeurotechEU
During the session, Javier Mínguez reviewed some of the research projects that marked Bitbrain's early years, including brain-computer interfaces for thought-controlled wheelchairs, systems capable of learning from neural signals, and studies demonstrating how motor intention can be captured from the healthy hemisphere of stroke patients. These works contributed to a long-term mission of bringing neurotechnology closer to society.

The presentation also highlighted how this research evolved into a portfolio of user-friendly technologies designed for real-world applications. Today, Bitbrain develops wearable EEG systems, AI-powered neuroscience tools, sleep research solutions, and devices that support data collection beyond controlled laboratory environments.
The session reflected the company's commitment to combining scientific rigor, usability, and interdisciplinary collaboration to make neurotechnology more accessible.
