Vaidotas Marozas visits Bitbrain to discuss the future of biosensing

October 16, 2026
The Director of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology, visited Bitbrain, where discussions focused on biosensing technologies and scientific research applications.
Beyond EEG, advances in physiological monitoring are opening new possibilities for understanding human behavior and health. The meeting explored some of the challenges and opportunities shaping this field.

Vaidotas Marozas met with Luis Montesano, Chief Technology Officer at Bitbrain, to discuss the development of biosensors for scientific investigation and explore current challenges in physiological data acquisition.

While EEG remains a core research area, the discussion also covered other physiological signals, including galvanic skin response (GSR), blood volume pulse (BVP), photoplethysmography (PPG), and respiration monitoring.
